Act of Love Adoptions is a domestic infant adoption program that assists birthparents from all cultural backgrounds wishing to make an adoption choice and families interested in building their families through adoption. Act of Love specializes in comprehensive services for birth parents including medical care, pre- and post-counseling, career guidance and support. Through Act of Love, MSPCC is also committed to educating, preparing and supporting prospective adoptive parents before, during and after the adoption process. The staff at Act of Love Adoptions includes all members of the adoption triad, birthparents, adoptive parents and adoptees.

We are a full-service adoption agency and aid all clients from the application process through finalization.

Act of Love Adoptions is a program provided by MSPCC, a private, non-profit society dedicated to leadership in protecting and promoting the rights and well-being of children since 1878.

A Family’s Story

My husband, Kevin, and I married in our early twenties. We knew we would have kids one day but we wanted to enjoy our youth before starting a family. As our thirties loomed on the horizon we decided to have a baby….

The story starts with our beautiful daughter marrying a great guy, Kevin. The waiting begins and all we need or want is to have a grandchild to complete our happy lives. Time goes by and the process of investigation and medication starts to no avail.

I still remember getting the call. It was almost 5 PM on a Friday afternoon in March. Our Act of Love social worker was telling me that a baby boy had just been born in North Carolina at 26 weeks gestation.
