Jul 20 - New Staff Members!

We are excited to welcome Sybil and Lori to the Act of Love Adoptions staff! Sybil is our new Adoption Social Worker and Lori is working as our Birthmother Counselor. We are thrilled to have them on board.

May 12 - Education Series

On May 5th we started the newest Ed Series group. This group of waiting families is looking forward to learning more about adoption. This series we are planning to have three adoptive families visit, our attorney, and a birthmother counselor.

May 3 - Waiting Families Social

On Sunday, May 2nd Act of Love Adoptions hosted a Waiting Families Social at Union Street Restaurant in Newton Center.  The gathering was a great success, and the waiting families had a great time mingling with one another and the AOL staff. Even the very warm temperatures and lack of clean drinking water did not keep the families away! We cannot wait to have more gatherings in the future!

Oct 19 - MSPCC’s Act of Love Adoptions Picnic

Every fall MSPCC’s Act of Love Adoptions hosts a picnic for all waiting and adoptive families. This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to meet, reconnect, and form ties with other families. Act of Love Adoptions provides entertainment and activities for children of all ages, and it is a great day filled with food, games, and fun.

This year’s Act of Love Adoptions picnic celebrated eleven years of creating families through adoption, and it was a great success. It took place on September 26th, and more than forty families attended. The children ranged in age from one week to fifteen years old. The families and the Act of Love Adoptions staff look forward to the annual picnic all year long, and it is always a joyous event for everyone.
