Jason’s story by over the top Grandparents:
The story starts with our beautiful daughter marrying a great guy, Kevin. The waiting begins and all we need or want is to have a grandchild to complete our happy lives. Time goes by and the process of investigation and medication starts to no avail. The years add up and the seed of a miracle is planted. A man shares his story of his adopted son and
information is exchanged.
The Act of Love adoption agency is contacted and hearts and hope start to ignite. It all happens quickly and we learn about our beautiful unborn boy!
Our kids make the trip to North Carolina and meet with the birth parents. We got permission to start painting and arranging a room just in case it really happens.
The call comes that the birth is imminent and we begin the adventure of a lifetime. We drive to North Carolina and meet our exhausted kids and our one day old grandson Jason. Nothing can describe our instantaneous love and appreciation for what has happened. Jason has created a beautiful family. Our daughter and son-in-law are such great parents and
we are so lucky to be part of this story.
We have been part of Jason’s life ever since and could go on forever about all the details, the fun, the suppers, the sleepovers,the trips etc. etc. but we would never have enough time.
Watching him be nurtured and grow into a special 7 year old has been such a highlight of our lives that we want to share it with anyone who will listen.
We will be eternally grateful to the adoption agency Act of Love for finding our Jason. We look forward every year to the family picnic when we get to see all the families that this wonderful agency has brought together.

P.S. The boy who was adopted who’s story started this process, is Matthew, and Jason was born in Matthews N.C.
